💙❤️💛 LMSA Celebrates United Way Week! 💛❤️💙

Let’s Make a Difference Together! Giving Starts With Us—United Together! 🤝✨

Our scholars and staff came together throughout the week to celebrate United Way Week and demonstrate the power of giving, service, and community!

✨ Monday: Scholars kicked off the week in their favorite LMSA spirit attire!
🔵🔴🟡 Tuesday: Scholars showed their support by wearing blue, red, gold, or yellow and bringing their assigned hygiene items to help give back to others.
🤝 Throughout the Week: Our scholars organized and participated in service activities throughout the school, spreading kindness and making a positive impact in our LMSA community.
🎉 Friday: We wrapped up the week in style with more LMSA spirit attire!

We are so proud of our scholars for showing that even the smallest act of kindness can make a BIG difference! 💙❤️💛

📚✨ Thank You, Grandparents & Families! ✨📚

A heartfelt THANK YOU to all of our amazing grandparents and families who joined us for Grandparents & Family Literacy Night! 💕📖

Our scholars celebrated the joy of reading through fun and engaging family literacy activities. They enjoyed the Laurel-Jones County Library Trolley 🚎📚, explored the Scholastic Book Fair 📕✨, and even had the opportunity to sign up for and receive their very own FREE library card! 🎉📚

It was an evening filled with reading, learning, laughter, and quality family time. Thank you for helping us inspire a lifelong love of reading and creating memories that will last a lifetime! 💛

A HUGE thank you to our amazing Renaissance/Illumination Team and our wonderful scholars for showing their Tornado Pride by rocking their CAMO! 🪖🔥

Our scholars kicked off the morning with a dance party to get the day started with energy, smiles, and positive vibes! 🎶💃🏽🕺🏽

Laurel School District will be closed on Monday, September 7, 2026, in observance of Labor Day. All students will return on Tuesday, September 8.
