Young Americans for Chris McDaniel

Young Americans for Chris McDaniel This page is for the youth in Mississippi that are ready to stand up and elect a constitutional conservative to the United States Senate.

McDaniel believes hope for the future is based on reclaiming the promise of freedom and liberty. He believes that any compromise of our constitutionally guaranteed rights is a destruction of the promise of the American Dream and the foundations of our country. As a state senator, he has written, sponsored and supported numerous pieces of legislation in Mississippi designed to protect individuals f

rom federal overreach into our basic individual rights. Chris has fought for private property rights and to restrict the use of eminent domain. He introduced the Fi****ms Freedom Protection Act to protect against federal encroachment on our Second Amendment rights. He has fought against government paternalism by sponsoring legislation to allow citizens to opt-out of requirements to provide personal and private information for use in a government database. As chairman of the Mississippi Senate Conservative Coalition, he has spoken against job-killing increases in taxes and in support of cutting government spending. Chris regularly speaks to groups across Mississippi about the need for a return to the simple perfections of the Constitution. His writings are published across a variety of legal, conservative and news publications, and he is a frequent guest commentator in the media on the subject of responsible public policy. He is now in his second term representing the 42nd district in the Mississippi state Senate. Chris is a strong proponent of limited government, free enterprise, civic participation, reduced tax rates, a strong national defense, states rights and a return to the original checks and balances of the Constitution. Chris is a life-long resident of Mississippi and Jones County. His father was a professor at Jones County Junior College and his mother retired from the college in 1995. His wife Jill is also a professional educator, employed with the Ellisville Elementary School for 10 years before the birth of the McDaniel children, Cambridge in 2006 and Chamberlain in 2011. After graduation from Jones County Junior College in 1992, Chris attended and graduated from William Carey College. Upon receiving his undergraduate degree he attended Ole Miss School of Law where he finished near the top of his class. Following graduation, he accepted a prestigious two-year federal judicial clerkship. As a partner in the law firm of Hortman, Harlow, Bassi, Robinson & McDaniel, he was lead counsel in a lawsuit filed against President Barack Obama and Attorney General Eric Holder, among others, seeking to declare Obamacare as unconstitutional. Chris donated his time, pro bono, for the petitioners’ efforts. Chris and his family live in his hometown of Ellisville, Mississippi and are members of West Ellisville Baptist Church, a church he has attended for over 30 years.

Hyde-Smith has backed out of two previous debates, citing her schedule in Washington D.C., even though she has managed to make it back to Mississippi for a rally in Southaven and for an NRA banquet in Jackson, not to mention the elitist fundraiser she attended on a Monday in Houston, Texas.

While out knocking doors, I handed an information card to a man and asked him to vote for Chris McDaniel. He politely handed the card back to me, “I can’t vote for that man—he’s too radical.” Being a child of the 80s, I knew that he did not mean McDaniel was “too awesome.” Since the ma...

This morning on national television, Senator Chris McDaniel did something completely unlike what the public has unfortunately become accustomed to hearing and seeing from political figures in our state and country. He faced a hostile studio audience, hostile and loaded questions from some of the hosts, and he supported the same policies he always has. He strongly emphasized the conservative principles that allowed hard working, creative and innovative people to build this country into the most exceptional nation in the history of the world.

What a valuable example to us all. Don’t be pressured into shirking the truth, no matter who is listening or who is benefiting from the lie.

Speak truth to power.

An unconvincing interview with an editorial board and a fundraising email with not one, but two false statements indicate that Cindy Hyde-Smith’s campaign for US Senate is not ready for prime-time.

Cindy Hyde-Smith’s campaign hasn’t hit the ground running, it’s just hit the ground.

Public policy discussions keep our citizens educated, our elected representatives honest, and they help keep conservatives united.
