Simply Report is a new tool for reporting possible signs of human trafficking- by anyone, anywhere, 24/7. If you see something suspicious, you just give Simply Report as much information as you have- even if it’s not much. You can remain anonymous if you want, and the software technology deems what the next best step is. This helps all of us to recognize trafficking, help victims, and bring justice to perpetrators. Just download the Simply Report in the Apple or Google Play store on your phone, and when you see something, say something!

What an honor it was to minister to the children and women of Pakistan. I felt your prayers!

✨ for the families as many of them suffer sickness and disease in their bodies

✨ for the team that every need will be met and they do not become weary in doing good

I have an opportunity to minister virtually to children in Pakistan tomorrow. These children labor in brick kilns all day. Every day. It is their life. It is normal to them. We know in America that this is labor trafficking. These children and families know it is a way of life. Please pray for me/us as this is all new territory. Pray for my precious friend Bandgi as she is ministering to these children after their hard day of work on a weekly basis.

The time is 7:00am for us and 5:00pm for Pakistanis.

May His Kingdom come.

I can’t wait to see what God is up to. 🥹

Last Friday, our team had the honor of attending Conversations that Matter, a state-wide gathering of those in the anti-human trafficking work, along with our friends at Transformation Garden. We were able to share the heart of what we do, bring awareness to the issue of trafficking right here in MS, and also share with the faith community how they can come alongside us in prayer, support, serving, and giving. It was a great day of Kingdom connections and networking with new friends throughout the state. Thank you, Attorney General Lynn Fitch; this was a wonderful event! We can’t wait to see the Lord bring fruit from it like only He can. ❤️

As a safe house for survivors of s*x trafficking, we know first hand how much of a factor awareness plays in the growth and support of our ministry. January is National Human Trafficking Awareness month, and we did not want to miss the opportunity to share about what we do here. Missing Peace exists to share the love and hope of Jesus Christ with women who have experienced s*x trafficking. It is a joy and a privilege to be a vessel that the Lord uses to show them His love and His power.

We opened our doors to the first resident the Lord sent our way 3 years ago today! It is incredible to think about all that we have seen God do in this time, both in the residents we have served and in our staff and volunteers. This journey has been a joy and an honor to walk, and we cannot wait to see what the future holds. Thank You, Lord! 🙌🏼❤️

Last week we were able to celebrate our sweet Sharita as she graduated from the residential side of Missing Peace! She has made such amazing progress in her journey here, and we are incredibly proud of her! She has grown in her walk with the Lord, she has obtained her GED, began working, is about to purchase her vehicle, and is taking steps toward furthering her education in the future. To know her is to love her, and we are so excited about the plans that the Lord has for her! We are so proud of you, Sharita! Seek the Lord and His face always, friend! ❤️

We had an amazing time at our second annual Fundraising Banquet, Awaken, last week! Our keynote speaker, Sula Lael, did an incredible job of sharing her testimony, her heart for survivors of trafficking, and inviting our guests to be part of what the Lord is doing through our ministry locally. Our meal, catered by Fraiche Cafe, was also wonderful! On behalf of Board, Staff, and Residents of Missing Peace, we extend a huge thank you to all our sponsors, donors, and volunteers who made this year’s event a great success. We appreciate you so much! Our cup overflows, and we can’t wait to see what God is going to do next! ❤️
