NOTICE OF ROAD CLOSURE

The Jones County EOC is requesting that local media outlets issue a public service notice concerning the following road closure.

WHAT: Township Rd (between Bush Rd & Lower Myrick Rd) will be closed to through traffic, for a cross culvert replacement project.

WHEN: Beginning Tuesday, Sept. 1, 2026 the road segment will close at 8:00 am, and remain closed until approximately 10:00 am, dependent on weather conditions.

WHERE: Township Rd near #84 ( 31.6529, -89.0791)

Nearest intersecting roads: Bush Rd / Lower Myrick Rd

Directions:
• Locations North of the closure will be accessible from Lower Myrick Rd.
• Locations South of the closure will be accessible from Bush Rd and all other intersections.
• Please plan accordingly.
• Use caution as workers will be on foot and operating equipment in the area.
