From the Clark County Republican Party: A Precinct Primer
What exactly is a precinct? In Clark County, Nevada, precincts are defined geographic areas where voters live and are assigned to vote in local, state, and federal elections. Each Senate and Assembly District contains dozens of precincts. When people talk about grassroots politics—this is where it begins.
As we head toward the November midterm elections, CCRP is organizing a countywide, precinct-based effort to motivate and engage Republican voters. Kicking this off, we’ll hold our first Precinct Meeting of the year on Thursday, February 5, 2026, from 5:00–7:00 p.m. at our headquarters: 333 N. Rancho Dr., Suite 660, Las Vegas.
We invite you to join us and learn everything you need to know about precincts—from how they function to how to become a precinct captain. We’ll also discuss the important role precinct members play in shaping the 2026 Clark County Republican Party Platform.
There’s no registration fee, and the meeting is open to all Clark County Republicans. Please scroll down, click on the Precinct Meeting flyer, and RSVP.
Let’s come together to move Clark County in the right direction.
