I officially became a candidate yesterday! Its bittersweet with the month I have had. I will be running for the North seat vacated by Mark Brown. Ironically, It is the same seat I ran for in 2012. Spending now until 2017 preparing and lining all my ducks in a row.

At the November 28th Commission Meeting, Vice Mayor Brown had his resignation letter read by the Town Attorney. He will be running for Mayor against Chris Vincent. In doing so he leaves his seat in the middle of his second term, creating an additional opening for March election. A candidate will run for his remaining 2 years and will be eligible to be elected for 4 more. I am weighing the possibility of running for this seat. Others have expressed a desire to as well. We will see given my track record in previous election results and running hard everyday, i feel my chances are very good.
