Thanksgiving Day is one week away! Please take these safety precautions when deep frying your Turkey.
✅ Always have a Fire Extinguisher readily available.
✅ Make sure your Turkey is defrosted.
✅ Don't overload the oil.
✅ Stay clear of hazards.
✅ Be safe!

Hurricane Nicole damaged our pier overnight before being downgraded to a Tropical Storm. The third picture is of the pier before being damaged.
No injuries were reported.

Associate Membership
Requirements:
* Certified Firefighter II
* Physical Examination With EKG
* Any County wide Physical agilities test (Academy PAT, CPAT or BCFRAT within one year are acceptable)
* Two (2) 4hr trainings a month
* Three(3) 24 Hour Shifts a month
Benefits:
* Volunteer during Paramedic School
* Advanced Training and experience
* Pension plan
