🌳 REMINDER: Emergency Chipping Services Tomorrow
The City’s emergency brush chipping service will take place tomorrow, Monday, September 14.
To ensure your brush is picked up, please follow the proper brush placement guidelines:
➡️ Place brush and branches in the street right-of-way, at the edge of your property.
➡️ Keep brush separate from other materials, including leaves, grass, garbage, and other yard waste.
➡️ Place branches in a neat pile, with the blunt/cut ends of branches facing the street.
➡️ Limbs and branches should be less than 6 inches in diameter to ensure they can be safely processed through the chipper.
➡️ Do not place brush in the roadway or block sidewalks, fire hydrants, drainage areas, or access to driveways.
➡️ Brush should be storm-related tree and branch debris suitable for mechanical chipping.
➡️ Do not include logs, stumps, lumber, construction materials, trash, or other non-chippable materials.
⚠️ Please note: Brush that does not comply with the placement guidelines or contains non-chippable materials may be skipped by the contractor. If a property is skipped due to improper placement or materials, removal of the brush will become the responsibility of the property owner.
Proper placement helps our contractor efficiently and safely collect your brush.
