As everyone knows when the rains come 4th street on the West end of town floods. Please DO NOT DRIVE thru the water. Not only can you get stalled in the water you push more water up in the houses in that area. So please just be mindful of your neighbors. And your vehicles.

Im going to take a moment to brag a little about out Fire Chief Kenny Crosier. He has dedicated his life to the Latham Volunteer Fire Department for over 40 years. His passion for the Fire service has inspired so many lives. Saturday night at our annual steak dinner the District and Fire Department members decided it was past time we honored him for a change. To say he was surprised is an understatement. The look on his face when people he has trained with, worked with, and even family that came to support him was priceless. Thank you Kenny for your service and dedication!
