🏫 Is your student identified as an English learner? Join us for this informative workshop to understand your child's journey in CCSD!

We will discuss what it means to be an English learner, the WIDA assessment that your child will take throughout the school year, and the supports available to them to promote success. Together, we can help students build confidence and thrive academically!

We had a blast at the annual Kickoff to Kindergarten, hosted by University of Nevada, Reno Extension! 🎉📚

These Pre-K learners are off to a great start as they practice identifying letters and connecting them to their sounds! They are building important early skills for building a strong foundation in reading. They also had the opportunity to choose free books from the CCSD Book Bus to continue building their own home libraries!

✏️🎒 Do you have a 3-5 year old? This event is for YOU! Join us at the annual Kickoff to Kindergarten hosted by University of Nevada, Reno Extension at the East Las Vegas Library!

This event will feature hands-on activities, free books on the CCSD Book Bus, school supplies and goodies for the first 250 families, dental screenings, a produce market, and the chance to meet Vegas PBS "Carl the Collector!"
