Dear Ronnow Students, Families, and Community,
My name is Cindy Iberri, and I am thrilled to serve as your new Assistant Principal. I am so eager to meet our amazing students, support our dedicated teachers, and partner with all of our wonderful families.
A Little About Me & My Roots:
I was born in California, but my family’s roots are in Guadalajara, Mexico. Growing up, I attended a dual language elementary school where I learned to read and write in both English and Spanish. Being bilingual is a huge part of who I am, and it allows me to communicate and connect directly with our diverse school community!
My Journey in CCSD:
I hold a Bachelor's in Education with a concentration in Bilingual Education, a Master's in Curriculum and Instruction with a concentration in Arts, and a Master's in Administration. My journey in education began as a Band-Aide and Instructional Assistant before I served as a substitute teacher across various grades and schools in the district in both English and Spanish. I then taught 4th and 5th grades at Bendorf ES and Vegas Verdes ES, moved to middle school to teach 6th Grade English, Spanish, and English for our Newcomers, and later worked as a Learning Strategist coaching teachers and supporting student achievement at Von Tobel Middle School. Today, I am proud to bring all of these experiences together as I serve right here as your Assistant Principal at C.C. Ronnow Elementary!
We Are In This Together!
I firmly believe that when families and schools work together, our students can achieve anything. My door is always open to you, whether in English or Spanish. Please stop by, say hello, or reach out whenever you need support.
Let’s make this a wonderful and successful year!
❤️ Ms. Iberri
