WEEKEND DUI BLITZ RESULTS

Officers from each area command, LVMPD Traffic, LVMPD 911 Communications, joined with Henderson Police Department, Clark County Office of Public Safety Officers, Nye County Sheriff's Office Deputies, Nevada State Police, and phlebotomists to keep you safe on the roads.

Our weekend DUI Blitz was conducted and achieved the following results:
233 Citations
25 DUI Arrests
3 Other Arrests
1 Recovered Firearm
35 Towed Vehicles

We are takin' and towin' vehicles off the roads that shouldn't be endangering you!

Enjoy an evening of swimming, music, inflatable obstacle course fun, snacks, and summer vibes with friends during this exciting teen-only event hosted by Clark County Parks & Recreation and Commissioner Justin Jones. ☀️🏄‍♂️
The Details:
June 27, 2026 | 5 PM – 8 PM | Ages 13–17* | $10 per teen
*No parents allowed and teens only ages 13-17 to attend
Teens must be checked in and out by a parent/guardian regardless of age. Swim tests are required to use the lap lanes and inflatable obstacle course. Light refreshments will be provided.

🚨Sexual Assault Detectives are Seeking Additional Victims🚨

The LVMPD Sexual Assault Detail is asking for the public’s assistance in an ongoing investigation involving 62-year-old Eddie Wide, a juvenile probation officer, who was arrested on April 22, 2026, for sexually based crimes that occurred in Las Vegas.

Detectives believe there may be additional juvenile victims and are urging anyone who may have had contact with Wide or has information related to this investigation to come forward.

Wide was booked into the Clark County Detention Center and faces two counts of sexual conduct with a child under his supervision and one count of child abuse.

Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the Sexual Assault Detail at 702-828-3421. To remain anonymous, contact Crime Stoppers at 702-385-5555 or online at CrimeStoppersOfNV.com.
