LVMPD Spring Valley Area Command The Spring Valley Area Command is one of ten area commands within the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.

The Spring Valley Area Command is responsible for the coordination and professional delivery of police services to this area of the city as well as areas of Clark County. In addition, Spring Valley also serves the area of China Town and is home to two major hotel casinos and three high schools. The boundaries are Sahara Ave to the north, I-15 to the east, Warm Springs Rd to the south, and Durango Dr to the west.

🚨Sexual Assault Detectives are Seeking Additional Victims🚨

The LVMPD Sexual Assault Detail is asking for the public’s assistance in an ongoing investigation involving 62-year-old Eddie Wide, a juvenile probation officer, who was arrested on April 22, 2026, for sexually based crimes that occurred in Las Vegas.

Detectives believe there may be additional juvenile victims and are urging anyone who may have had contact with Wide or has information related to this investigation to come forward.

Wide was booked into the Clark County Detention Center and faces two counts of sexual conduct with a child under his supervision and one count of child abuse.
