This Labor Day, we’re celebrating the people who keep Southern Nevada moving forward.

We attended the Nevada AFL-CIO Constitutional Convention, where Delegates gather annually. Our role is to share the resources we offer at UWSN and collaborate with fellow union members on how we can make a difference together.

Our partnership with Nevada AFL-CIO reflects a shared commitment to building a stronger Southern Nevada where everyone has the opportunity to thrive. We’re also proud to have Susie Martinez, UWSN Board Member and Executive Secretary-Treasurer of the Nevada State AFL-CIO, helping strengthen the connection between our organizations and our shared work in the community.

Powerfully Unapologetic brought our community together at the UFC Performance Institute for an evening of learning, connection, and inspiration as we heard from three powerful women about the lessons, challenges, and defining moments that shaped their careers.
