🚨Sexual Assault Detectives are Seeking Additional Victims🚨

The LVMPD Sexual Assault Detail is asking for the public’s assistance in an ongoing investigation involving 62-year-old Eddie Wide, a juvenile probation officer, who was arrested on April 22, 2026, for sexually based crimes that occurred in Las Vegas.

Detectives believe there may be additional juvenile victims and are urging anyone who may have had contact with Wide or has information related to this investigation to come forward.

Wide was booked into the Clark County Detention Center and faces two counts of sexual conduct with a child under his supervision and one count of child abuse.

Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the Sexual Assault Detail at 702-828-3421. To remain anonymous, contact Crime Stoppers at 702-385-5555 or online at CrimeStoppersOfNV.com.

As temperatures rise, pool parties and large gatherings become more common throughout the community. Please be mindful of your neighbors and help keep our neighborhood safe and enjoyable for everyone.

If you observe disturbances, property damage, suspicious activity, or unruly behavior, please contact the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department using the appropriate non-emergency or emergency lines:
• 311 for non-emergency concerns
• 911 for emergencies or immediate threats to safety

You can also email Northeast Area Command at [email protected] with any properties that are creating a disturbance in the neighborhood.
