Perform testing, inspection and maintenance of fire protection systems and equipment to ensure that systems are in compliance with appropriate laws, codes, regulations, and standards. Provide inspection reports and supporting documentation of deficiencies and necessary improvements.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES / ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
1. Perform testing and inspection of fire protection systems and equipment.
2. Provide accurate inspection reports with documentation of inspections performed, fire code violations observed, and recommended corrective action, on a hand held device (iPad).
3. Coordinate and schedule work with client and other departments. Ensure administrative team is informed of the status of inspections or delays.
4. This position is required to drive.
5. Perform additional duties as assigned.
6. On-call rotation required, once a month.
Minimum Qualifications:
Educational and experience requirements include: High school diploma and a minimum of three years’ experience in the testing and maintenance of fire protection systems. Must have a working knowledge of sprinkler controls, alarm panels, devices, and critical components. Must have safe driving record and a valid driver’s license according to legal requirements (applicant to provide current MVR).

Should be a fully experienced and competent individual capable of identifying deficiencies and following through on corrective action.
