13 YEARS! 13 YEARS! 13 YEARS Ago we were licensed to open Ray of Sunshine Adult Day Care ☀️☀️☀️

First and foremost, we give all glory to GOD. Through every challenge, every storm, every uncertainty, He has sustained us, guided us and remained faithful. Looking back we would not be here without his grace. 🙏🏾

To every family, who has trusted us with the care of your loved one, thank you. Caregiving is one of the most challenging and selfless journeys a person can walk. We understand the sacrifices, the emotions and the daily commitment it requires. It has been our mission to show up with compassion to serve with excellence and to treat every individual who walks through our doors with the dignity, respect and love they deserve.

As I reflect on these 13 years, I’m excited 😆about what lies ahead. God has placed dreams in my heart that I’m not quite ready to share, but I believe with prayer, fasting, hard work and keeping God first all things are possible. I’m trusting him to lead every step of the way.

To everyone who has been part of this journey, rather you’ve trusted us with your family, worked alongside of us, referred someone to us, prayed for us, encouraged us or supported us behind the scenes, THANK YOU!! Your love and support have been more than you know. 💙☀️💙☀️💙☀️💙☀️

After 9 years of picking up meals for our seniors from Culinary Academy Las Vegas, we are thrilled to share that we have a new caterer who delivers directly to us!

What makes this even more special is that we didn’t have to increase our meal count to receive delivery service. Rohu Gourmet was founded after the owner saw firsthand the need for quality meal delivery when her father attended Adult Day Care. Her passion for serving seniors, and Adult Day Care programs truly shines through.

As an added bonus, even though we only need 14 meals, she generously provides 16 full portions of protein with every order. Today our seniors enjoyed delicious, tilapia, roasted potatoes with vegetables and soup and salad 🥗

We are absolutely over the moon and incredibly thankful to Food For Kids, Inc. for recommending that we support this wonderful small business. We can’t wait to share this resource with our colleagues and fellow Adult Day Care providers.

And honestly….. doesn’t our food look delicious?

We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Center Ray Of Sunshine Adult Day Care on a per diem basis.

Responsibilities include:
* Supervising and assisting with simple activities such as games and chair exercises.
* Administering medication to a small number of participants.
* Working under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse (RN)

They did it again!! 💙💛

A huge thank you to Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. and the Rosebuds for passing out Thanksgiving cards to our participants. For many, it was the only card they received-and the expressions on their faces were absolutely heartwarming.

What a beautiful gesture of kindness and compassion during a season when so many are suffering, hurting, or forgotten. Your thoughtfulness made a meaningful difference.
