Know Your CO!

Corrections Officer Z. Limpin joined the LVMPD in 2024, after spending two years working in asset protection at Walmart. Looking for a career that would provide greater opportunities for himself and his family, Limpin decided it was time for a change. After touring the jail and getting a firsthand look at the work being done, he instantly knew Metro was where he wanted to be and began pursuing a career in corrections.

Currently assigned as a CO in the North Tower Bureau, Limpin previously worked in the South Tower Bureau and has gained experience across multiple areas through overtime assignments. With a strong drive for growth, he hopes to test into Booking when eligible and has aspirations of becoming a Training and Counseling or Field Training Officer, joining the Special Emergency Response Team, and eventually promoting to Sergeant.

What Limpin values most about the department is the rewarding nature of the work and the strong relationships he has built along the way. He says one of the best parts of the job has been getting to know people he proudly considers family, while continuing to grow both personally and professionally within Metro.

Officer Reginald Brown joined the LVMPD in 2003, driven by a desire to serve his community and be a positive example for others who share similar backgrounds. A graduate of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas with a bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, Landinger worked at several Las Vegas resort properties. After years of balancing multiple jobs and seeking greater career fulfillment, he decided to pursue a new path with Metro, looking for stability, opportunity, and a workplace where hard work is recognized.
