Today we’re celebrating National Therapy Animal Day and the incredible impact our four-legged partners make every single day. 🐾

At AMR and MedicWest, we’re proud to have Mercy and Raider, our therapy dogs, as part of our extended team. They bring comfort, calm, and a sense of connection to our crews and community.

Whether it’s a quick visit after a tough call or a reassuring presence during community events, Mercy and Raider remind us that healing comes in many forms.

Today, we join our partners at the Clark County Fire Department in honoring the life of John Moreno.

John was more than a firefighter—he was a teammate, a friend, and a dedicated public servant who showed up every day with a commitment to helping others. His impact will be felt far beyond the calls he responded to, in the lives he touched and the people who had the privilege to work alongside him.

On behalf of AMR and MedicWest, we extend our deepest condolences to his family, loved ones, and our entire firefighter family. We stand with you during this difficult time.

We are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Clark County Firefighter Paramedic John Moreno. His dedication to serving others and commitment to protecting our community will never be forgotten.

John answered the call to help people on some of their hardest days, and his impact reached far beyond the emergencies he responded to. He was a teammate, a public servant, and a source of strength and compassion to so many.

Our hearts are with his family, friends, and fellow firefighters during this incredibly difficult time. We honor his life, his service, and the legacy he leaves behind. Thank you for your sacrifice and for the difference you made in our community.
