We Met Our Match! 💙

Thanks to Helms Helps Foundation, Nevada Homeless Alliance’s Match Campaign was a success!

Helms Helps stepped up with a $20,000 matching gift, and our community stepped up right alongside them. Together, you answered the call, helped us meet the match, and showed what’s possible when people come together around a shared commitment to our community.
We are incredibly grateful to the Helms Helps team for believing in the work of Nevada Homeless Alliance and investing in our mission. And to everyone who donated, shared the campaign, or encouraged others to give, you helped make this happen.

On September 3, Nevada Homeless Alliance brought services directly into the community at our BETterment On-Site Project Homeless Connect event. From housing and financial assistance to medical care, vision services, food, hygiene supplies, identification assistance, voter registration and more, our partners helped connect our neighbors to resources that matter.

Of the 120 guests served, 91% were individuals experiencing homelessness. And behind every number is a person, a conversation and an opportunity to connect someone with support.
A huge thank you to BETterment for opening its doors and providing a welcoming space for this event, and to Clark County Nevada for its continued partnership and support.

We are also incredibly grateful to Caesars Entertainment and Helm’s Helps for sponsoring this work and helping make events like this possible.

This is what collaboration looks like. Advocate. Educate. Coordinate. Serve.

On August 26, 2026, Nevada Homeless Alliance was joined by an incredible group of community partners at Clark County Library for a day of connection, resources, and same-day services.
Together, we served 94 guests, with 93% of those served experiencing homelessness.

Throughout the event, our guests were connected to a wide range of services, including housing referrals and assessments, medical screenings and information, wound care, social services, domestic violence advocacy and shelter resources, financial assistance, dental resources, vital documents, hygiene supplies, food, Narcan, vision support, pet supplies, and more.

Some of the day’s impact included:
67 wound care services
60 medical information connections
60 social service connections
43 housing referrals
27 Narcan distributions
24 medical screenings
18 reading glasses distributed
16 domestic violence counseling and advocacy connections
11 birth certificate requests
100 hygiene items distributed
100 snack bags and food items distributed
We extend our sincere appreciation to every provider who showed up and helped make these services accessible to our community.
A special thank you to Clark County Library for once again welcoming us into your space and supporting our team and community partners throughout the event.
We would also like to thank Touro University Nevada for joining us and helping provide valuable services and support to our guests.
And a special shout-out to our sponsor, Caesars Entertainment, whose continued support helps make it possible for Nevada Homeless Alliance and our community partners to bring resources directly to our neighbors.

When organizations come together, we are able to meet people where they are, remove barriers, and create meaningful connections to services and support.

Thank you to our providers, partners, sponsors, volunteers, and everyone who helped make this day possible.
