Del Sol Academy of the Performing Arts Del Sol Academy of the Performing Arts is a high school (9-12) in the Clark County School District.

Mission Statement: Del Sol Academy of the Performing Arts prepares our diverse student population to successfully pursue college and career opportunities in a global community. Rigorous instructional programs facilitate the development of our students’ unique skills and talents, as scholars, performers, and athletes which emphasize critical thinking, creativity and self expression.

After graduation yesterday, we also said goodbye and happy retirement to Mr. James Ertman. ❤️💛🐉

For years, Mr. Ertman has been a true mainstay at Del Sol — greeting students each morning during cafeteria duty, attending games, cheering on our Dragon athletes, supporting staff and students, and always staying after to help clean up from events. No matter what was happening on campus, he was there giving his time and heart to our school community.

Always wanting to do what was right for kids and always a Dragon at heart.

Thank you for your years of dedication, support, and service to Del Sol. Enjoy your retirement, Mr. James Ertman — you will truly be missed.

Today was the final day of an unforgettable year filled with memories, milestones, performances, championships, laughter, and growth. To our graduating seniors — we will miss you as you head off to find your next fire and begin the next chapter of your journey. 🔥🎓

🎓✨ Tonight, Del Sol had an amazing representation at the BCON (Black Community Organizations Network) 48th Annual Baccalaureate Ceremony at the Thomas & Mack Center.

What a beautiful evening celebrating culture, community, tradition, and the accomplishments of the Class of 2026. Seeing our students and families come together for such a meaningful event was truly special. ❤️💛🐉

We are proud of all of our Dragons and grateful to be part of a community that continues to uplift and celebrate one another!
