We are going to transform it and create medical offices, an endoscopy center, and high end apartments.

The demo is coming along so well and quickly! Most of the green carpet is gone. The body lockers are out and in the garage for storage. Ceilings are off and some walls are down. Now waiting for the asbestos removal team to take out a few pipes.

When we purchased the building, there were boxes of original architect drawn plans. On them it showed an area for storing bodies. It was walled off and hidden. Of course as soon as we took ownership, we were down there kicking in the false wall. This is video one. I will post a second. There is a 4 chamber storage locker I guess? They would have stopped using it when they started embalming.

Apartment 6. The apartment on the first floor. It was being used as a commercial office space. We are going to convert it back to a residential rental. New fixtures, appliances, mini splits. In suite laundry. We plan to do the same for all the apartments.

There will be more pre renovation pictures of the other apartments once the tenants have moved out.

The basement will become the endoscopy center. There is room for extra procedure rooms for small surgical procedures as well as some aesthetics or who knows? There are lots of possibilities. :) There is a large area for a pre and post op room. Plenty of space for restrooms, storage, scope cleaning. The electrical system is ancient. One of our first items is to do a complete replacement of the entire electrical system.

One of the main highlights is the large room that was used as the chapel. Underneath the green carpet is beautiful hardwood floors. The old organ is from 1929. It has pipes that run down to the basement with a blower motor from 1907. We are planning on finding a buyer interested in preserving the organ. We will be turning the room into exam rooms and offices. The stained glass will be removed and preserved.

Further down the west hall is a storage room with a door leading to the back entrance to the apartment back stairs. We will likely leave this as storage. Next to is a small bathroom. Will will expand this. beside that is the old embalming room which is being converted into the break room. Don't worry lol. It will completely gutted. There is a hand pull elevator. So cool. It will be replaced with an electric elevator, although I wish we could just hire someone to work it instead. The old garage will become the entrance to the endoscopy/surgical center.
