Join the City of Las Cruces for a ribbon cutting ceremony celebrating the newest phase of improvements to the East Mesa Public Recreation Complex.
The improvements were made possible through the 2022 General Obligation Bond approved by voters and include a new playground, basketball courts, skatepark, restrooms, and a public art installation. Additional funding was provided through Shared State Gross Receipts Tax, Park Impact Fees, and state legislative allocations.
Featured speakers include Mayor Eric Enriquez, City Councilor and Art Board Member Michael Harris, State Representative Joanne Ferrary, Parks and Recreation Director Steven Bingham, and artist James Moore, creator of the Dance of Life public art installation.
The East Mesa Public Recreation Complex is located at 5275 Camino Coyote Lane in Las Cruces, New Mexico.
