A historic flooding event in Vado, NM, leaves us all praying for the families affected. Fortunately, no lives were lost. We had the honor of assisting with the incident last night, while also providing additional units to help with the call volume in other parts of the county, as so many units were sent to Vado. Hearing the calm voice of the dispatchers handle all of the calls for help, along with all of the responders' traffic, gave all of us the confidence that things were going to be ok. The teamwork and extraordinary efforts on display by our Emergency Response partners are what keep our hope for humanity alive.
