Big Brothers Big Sisters of New Mexico - Dona Ana/Grant Counties Contact us to enroll a child (5-17) or to become a mentor!

Our mission is to create and support one-to-one mentoring relationships that ignite the power and promise of youth so that All youth achieve their full potential. Becoming a Big is more important now than ever as COVID-19 continually changes life for our communities. Kids in your community need Bigs like you to bring support and instill confidence as we all navigate this challenging time. Big Brot

hers Big Sisters serves young people from age five through young adulthood in one-to-one mentoring friendships. Bigs and Littles hang out 2-3 times a month for a few hours doing normal, everyday activities, like seeing a movie, doing homework, playing games, going out to eat, or just hanging out! Each match is supported by a dedicated Match Support Specialist who is always there to provide resources and support specific to the Little’s age. With a Big in their life, Littles in the Big Brothers Big Sisters program are empowered to ignite their potential as they grow in their self-esteem, earn better grades, and develop a lifelong friendship with their Big.

A huge thank you to Marci Dickerson and The Game Billiards for hosting our BBBS matches for an evening of fun, connection, and friendly competition! 🎱

We would also like to give a special thank you to our very own Big Sister, Sandy, who helped coordinate this wonderful activity and connected us with Marci to make it all possible.

Mentorship doesn't always happen through big conversations or life lessons. Sometimes it happens in the little moments, like teaching someone how to line up a shot, cheering them on, sharing a laugh, or simply spending quality time together.

These moments help build confidence, trust, and connection, and we are grateful to everyone who helped create those opportunities for our matches.
