📣Attention All 5th Grade Families📣

We are looking for family and parent volunteers to help decorate for our Wolf Pups 5th grade promotion ceremony this coming Wednesday May 20th at 6pm.
If you are able to help please let us know in the sign up below and help us send these 5th graders out with the best promotion ceremony possible.

We have kept there celebration theme and some other details a surprise for them so please leave all students and siblings at home so that we can keep this surprise for them until our Wolf Pups enter promotion on Thursday morning. Thank you for helping make Monte Vista a wonderful place for both students and staff.

Monte Vista families, we could really use your help this week.

Our school’s quinceañera celebration is this Friday, and PTO is helping the Monte Vista Elementary planning committee with a few important pieces to make the day special for students and staff.

Here’s where we still need help:

Tomorrow: We need volunteers to help decorate and get things ready for the celebration.

Friday: We are especially in need of parent volunteers to help pass out snow cones during the event.

Even if you can only help for a short amount of time, it would make a huge difference. These events only happen when families step in, and we truly need more hands to make this run smoothly.

Monte Vista families, we are asking for one simple thing tomorrow morning: send a note of appreciation to school with your child.

Tomorrow we are kicking off Teacher & Staff Appreciation Week by covering staff doors with kind notes from students and parents, and we would love your help making it a big, meaningful start.

The note does not have to be fancy. Big or small, simple or creative, it all matters. Parents are welcome to send in notes too, and our volunteers will help students place all of the notes on staff doors tomorrow morning.

Please just make sure each note includes a to and from.

Please encourage your child to think beyond their classroom teacher too. Nurses, office staff, cafeteria workers, custodians, specials teachers, and support staff would all love to be remembered.

Tomorrow is the best day to send them so we can start the week strong and fill the school with love right away.

Please help us show our staff how loved they are. 💙

Monte Vista is turning 15, and our school is celebrating with a quinceañera on May 15! 🎉

PTO is helping the planning committee with a few pieces of the celebration, and we need parent volunteers to help make the day run smoothly.

We could use help with:
🎊 Decorating
🍧 Prepping snow cones
🍧 Passing out snow cones during the event

Our biggest need right now is at least **5 parents** who can help pass out snow cones on the day of the celebration. This will be such a fun way to be part of the day and help make it special for our students and staff.

Final call for gift card donations for Teacher & Staff Appreciation Week! 💙

Next week, we’ll be celebrating our amazing Monte Vista teachers and staff, and we would love your help making one part of the week extra special. We are collecting gift cards that teachers will have a chance to win during a special celebration.

Gift cards can be for restaurants, coffee shops, stores, local businesses, services, or anywhere you think our teachers and staff would enjoy. We also know many of our Wolf Pack families own businesses, and we would love the chance to support you, too!

If you’re able to donate, please drop gift cards off in the front office by Tuesday, May 5.

We need at least 10 volunteers, if you able to help volunteer your time please lets us know in the sign up genius below. More details on the event are there as well, however we don’t want to spoil the surprise for our teachers who are in this group.
