🧼🪥 Help Us Fill a Shoebox with Kindness! ❤️

Our annual Shoebox Project Hygiene Collection Drive is underway, and we’re inviting our community to join us in making a meaningful difference for local children and families.

We’re collecting new, travel-size hygiene items to help fill shoeboxes with essential personal-care products. A simple donation can provide more than just a toothbrush or bottle of shampoo—it can bring comfort, dignity, and a reminder that our community cares.

📦 How you can help:

✨ Organize a collection drive at your workplace, school, church, or organization
✨ Encourage friends and family to participate
✨ Help us spread the word!

Every item collected helps us put together shoeboxes filled with care and encouragement for those in our community who need a little extra support.

Residents who wish to report damage to property or businesses as a result of Tuesday evening’s flooding may do so by visiting DonaAna.gov/DamageAssessment.

For more information, residents can call our 2-1-1 hepline. Our office is open Monday- Thursday from 8:30am-5:00pm and Friday from 8:30am-Noon.

The Public Damage Assessment Form is now open.

Residents who wish to report damage to property or businesses as a result of Tuesday evening’s flooding may do so by visiting DonaAna.gov/DamageAssessment.

For more information, residents can call 211 Monday through Thursday from 8:30am to 5:00pm and Friday from 8:30am to noon.

The Greatest Needs Impact Fund for Doña Ana County, held within the Community Foundation of Southern New Mexico, is available to provide financial resources for both immediate needs and long-term recovery for the people, animals, and places affected by the flooding. CFSNM is working closely with the Doña Ana County Office of Emergency Management (OEM) and United Way of Southwest New Mexico (UWSWNM) to help ensure resources reach those who have been impacted.
