The Las Cruces Police Department thanks our friends with Velo Cruces, the voice of the Las Cruces cycling community, who donated 100 safety vest and light sets that will be provided to bicyclists who officers contact on our roadways.

The vest and light sets are intended to help make bicyclists more visible to motorists, particularly when riding during evening and nighttime hours.

Velo Cruces promotes safe cycling and advocates for bicyclists throughout Las Cruces and Dona Ana County. We thank Velo Cruces for their partnership in helping keep our community safe and moving forward.
