Senior Credit Checks will begin Tuesday after Fall Break.

Credit checks are mandatory for all seniors and will be completed by appointment through the student’s counselor.

A parent or guardian must be present for the credit check, either:

In person, or By phone

These meetings are important to review graduation progress, remaining credits, and any requirements that still need to be completed.

Las Cruces Public Schools invites families to our Sensory Friendly Color Run/Walk/Roll on Saturday, Oct. 17, from 9–11 a.m. at Sierra Middle School. Best of all, it’s FREE! Sensory Friendly Color Run (2)
This inclusive event is designed for students of all abilities, including those with sensory sensitivities. There’s no clock and no pressure — participants can move at whatever pace feels comfortable. Families can enjoy the colorful powder stations or choose a color-free lane for a sensory-friendly experience. Sensory Friendly Color Run (2)

Studies show more than 70% of students have either experienced or witnessed some form of cyberbullying. Together, we can help our students navigate these challenges positively.

Join Las Cruces Public Schools' Superintendent Ignacio Ruiz along with SmartSocial for a LIVE virtual event designed to help parents understand how to talk with their child about online bullying and foster positive student behaviors.

In this event, parents and educators will also:

Understand the impact of bullying on emotional and physical wellbeing

Learn how to recognize the signs of bullying

Gain strategies to address and resolve conflicts and how to promote positive online behavior

LIVE Parent Event: Combat Online Bullying: Supporting Positive Student Behavior (Bring your student!)
