STATUS REPORT: Town of Wolf River Flooding Update
DATE: Saturday, April 18, 2026
TIME: 7:00 PM

As of 12:00 PM, the Wolf River sits at 7'7" and is expected to crest on Tuesday, April 21, or Wednesday, April 22.

Currently, there is still no evacuation order and residents are encouraged to continue with evacuation and flood preparations.

The Town of Wolf River halted sandbagging for the remainder of today. Officials will re-evaluate the river tomorrow morning before continuing sandbagging operations.

The National Weather Service North Central River Forecast Center manages a map with information on current river levels. The map can be accessed via the following link: https://www.weather.gov/ncrfc/.

For the quickest and most accurate weather updates, Winnebago County Emergency Management recommends residents to monitor local weather forecasts and to follow the US National Weather Service Green Bay Wisconsin's page.

During flooding events make sure to:
• Avoid all floodwater, Turn Around Don't Drown.
• Stay out of impacted areas to allow first responders, highway crews, public utilities, and local officials to efficiently complete their work.
• Stay tuned to official outlets for updates and guidance.
• Have multiple ways to receive information from officials.

Winnebago County residents with any property damage caused by this severe weather event and any unmet needs can report this information to 211 Wisconsin by dialing 2-1-1.

Please continue to monitor official Winnebago County pages and website for updates. The County Flooding Information and Resources website can be accessed via the following link: https://www.winnebagocountywi.gov/319/Flooding-Information.
