Our owner and lead trainer, Tony LoRusso, has worked with numerous agencies in K9 selection, initial training, and maintenance training for both patrol and detector K9s. Tony also has real world experience, working three Patrol K9s that were dual certified in drug detection. With over 300 patrol apprehensions and 100+ drug detection finds, Tony has the real world experience to compliment his experience as an FDLE and USPCA certified K9 Trainer with over 30,000 training hours as a lead K9 trainer. Tony was also the Head K9 Trainer for the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office 14 dog K9 Unit where he was responsible for dog selection, running patrol and detector schools, maintenance training, course development, and record keeping. Tony has also competed in the United States Police Canine Association Regional and National Trials with all three of his K9s, placing multiple times in patrol and detector disciplines.
