Lynn was a cherished member of the Greater Largo Library Foundation Board, serving as president for many years. She worked diligently to create sustainable library foundation funding and was a champion for literacy and library services.

We are deeply saddened at the loss of our dear friend, Lynn Pippenger. Her generosity and dedication to our Library will continue to shape the programs and services that serve our community for years to come.

‼️Announcing the Free To Read Book Fund‼️

📚The Greater Largo Library Foundation is proud to introduce the Free to Read Book Fund—a NEW initiative dedicated to expanding access to books and resources for everyone in our community. Your donation will help fill important gaps in the Largo Public Library’s collection, based on the needs and requests of our patrons.

❤️Together, we can ensure that every reader has the freedom to discover the stories, knowledge, and ideas that matter most to them.

🌳To honor our donors, contributions of $100 or more will be recognized on our new Largo Literacy Tree, now on display in the library lobby near the Friends of the Library Bookstore. The tree’s initial funding—and the first gift to the Free to Read Fund—was generously bequeathed by longtime librarian, friend, and advocate for the Freedom to Read, Karen Roth. Her legacy will continue to grow as each donation adds a new leaf to the tree.

👉If you’d like to add your name to the tree—or make a gift in honor of a friend or loved one—please visit the Foundation website at www.gllf.org or call (727) 586-7398 for additional information.
