LULAC District 14 - Texas District XIV and LULAC Council #12 are proud to participate in the 97th Annual Texas LULAC State Convention & Exposition, taking place in San Antonio, Texas, from May 29 through May 31, 2026.

This annual gathering brings together LULAC leaders, members, delegates, and community advocates from across Texas to strengthen our commitment to leadership, education, civic engagement, and service to our communities.

As representatives of Laredo and District XIV, our delegates are honored to engage in important discussions, training sessions, networking opportunities, and policy initiatives that will help shape the future of our organization and the communities we serve.

We extend our appreciation to all those who continue to dedicate their time and efforts to advancing the mission of LULAC. Together, we remain committed to empowering our communities and creating opportunities for future generations.

Los delegados del LULAC District 14 - Texas y de LULAC Council #12 se enorgullecen de participar en la 97ª Convención y Exposición Estatal Anual de LULAC Texas, celebrada en San Antonio, Texas, del 29 al 31 de mayo de 2026.

Este importante evento reúne a líderes, miembros, delegados y defensores comunitarios de todo el estado de Texas con el propósito de fortalecer nuestro compromiso con el liderazgo, la educación, la participación cívica y el servicio a nuestras comunidades.

Como representantes de Laredo y del Distrito XIV, nuestros delegados tienen el honor de participar en sesiones de trabajo, capacitaciones, oportunidades de colaboración e iniciativas que ayudarán a definir el futuro de nuestra organización y de las comunidades a las que servimos.

Agradecemos a todos aquellos que continúan dedicando su tiempo, esfuerzo y liderazgo para impulsar la misión de LULAC. Unidos, seguimos trabajando para empoderar a nuestras comunidades y crear oportunidades para las futuras generaciones.

Today, on Memorial Day, we pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our nation.

This tribute video is respectfully dedicated to all fallen heroes, with special recognition to those from Laredo, Texas, whose sacrifice continues to live in the heart of our community.

May we never forget their courage, their service, and the legacy they left behind.
Forever remembered.

What an incredible day celebrating the amazing mothers in our community! ❤️

LULAC Council #12 would like to extend our sincere appreciation to everyone who joined us and helped make our 2026 Mother’s Day Celebration such a memorable and joyful event.

A special highlight of the day was our Lotería, which turned out to be a complete success! 🎉 The room was filled with excitement, laughter, friendly competition, and unforgettable moments shared among family and friends. Seeing everyone enjoy themselves and come together in such a positive atmosphere made the event truly special.

Thank you to all participants, volunteers, supporters, and families for being part of this celebration and for helping us honor the mothers who inspire and strengthen our community every day.

¡Qué gran día vivimos celebrando a las maravillosas madres de nuestra comunidad! ❤️

LULAC Council #12 desea expresar su más sincero agradecimiento a todas las personas que nos acompañaron e hicieron posible que nuestra Celebración del Día de las Madres 2026 fuera un evento lleno de alegría y momentos inolvidables.

Uno de los momentos más especiales del día fue nuestra Lotería, ¡la cual fue todo un éxito! 🎉 Hubo emoción, risas, sana convivencia y mucha diversión entre familiares y amistades. Ver a todos disfrutar y compartir juntos hizo que este evento fuera aún más significativo.

The Laredo Police Department will be conducting a training exercise at the Mexican Consulate location at 1612 Farragut from 8 a.m.-11 a.m.. This is meant to prepare first responders in case of an actual emergency. This is a controlled exercise and there is no danger or cause for alarm. Thank you.

LULAC Council #12 proudly invites the community of Laredo to attend the “Musical de Primavera”, a vibrant cultural event celebrating the richness of our traditions through music and dance.

Join us on Saturday, April 25, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Instituto Cultural Mexicano de Laredo, located at The Outlet Shoppes at Laredo (second level, near the central elevator). This special program will feature performances by Mariachi Tigres del Sur, Ballet Folklórico del ICML, Dueto Nostalgia, and the Ensamble de Guitarras de TAMIU.

This is a wonderful opportunity to enjoy live cultural performances with family and friends. Admission is free, and attendees will also have the chance to participate in a guitar raffle at the conclusion of the event.

We look forward to your presence as we continue to celebrate and promote our shared heritage.

Acompáñenos el sábado 25 de abril de 2026, de 3:00 p.m. a 5:00 p.m. en el Instituto Cultural Mexicano de Laredo, ubicado en The Outlet Shoppes at Laredo (segundo nivel, frente al elevador central). Este programa contará con la participación de Mariachi Tigres del Sur, Ballet Folklórico del ICML, Dueto Nostalgia y el Ensamble de Guitarras de TAMIU.
