The 3rd Annual 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb is more than a workout. It’s an opportunity to honor the 343 FDNY firefighters, first responders, and innocent lives lost on September 11, 2001.

On Friday, September 11th, we invite every local gym, CrossFit box, run club, fitness studio, sports team and anyone looking for a challenge to join us at the Sames Auto Arena.

The Laredo Fire Department and the Laredo Firefighter’s Association Local 872 are proud to announce Laredo’s 3rd Annual 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb!

On September 11th, we will come together as a community to honor the 343 firefighters who made the ultimate sacrifice on September 11, 2001.

This isn't just a stair climb. It's a day of remembrance, unity, and gratitude for the heroes who gave everything in service to others.

This Event is Open to the Public

Leadership isn't just about wearing a badge—it's about continuously learning, growing, and setting the example for those around you.

A huge congratulations to the 15 members of the Laredo Fire Department who successfully completed the Firefighter Leadership Certificate Cohort at Laredo College! From June 3 through August 3, these dedicated firefighters earned a Level I Leadership Certificate by completing 16 college credit hours, taking another step toward becoming even stronger leaders both on and off the fireground.🧯

This accomplishment reflects the commitment our personnel have to serving our community with professionalism, knowledge, and integrity.
