We're closed on Monday 🙃

Laredo College will be closed on Monday, May 25 in observance of Memorial Day. Normal operations will resume on Tuesday, May 26 at 8 a.m.

Hello! We would like to clarify on our hours for the public to visit:

Monday-Thursday 9am-5pm
Fridays- 9am-11am
Saturdays- 10am-2pm
Closed on Sundays

Cost will be $5 per person, ages 3 up :)

Let the countdown begin! 😊💚

We’re a few days away from the Lamar Bruni Vergara Environmental Center reopening!

As we get closer to the big day, we’re introducing some of the residents who call the center home:

🐾 Deimos is a 2-year-old bobcat (Lynx rufus) who arrived at the center as a young cub along with his sister, Nebula, and has been cared for by Laredo College Wildlife Technicians ever since.

He may look wild, but he has some very familiar habits: never says no to pork ribs, loves attention and plays with plush toys much like a domestic cat would.

📍Located at the Ft. McIntosh Campus, the LBVEC is home to native flora and fauna, offering students and our community a closer look at conservation in action.
