2PM 4/14 - Winds will increase in the wind prone areas again early Wednesday morning. A High Wind Watch has been issued for the potential for wind gusts to around 60 mph. Use caution if traveling with light weight or high profile vehicles.

Today before our annual open house, we had a Classroom dedication ceremony. We decided to call our new classroom the "Dylan Whitmer Life Safety Training Center". Dylan Whitmer was the founding Chief of Central, and continues to be with us as one of our Engineers. From all of us at Albany county Central VFD would like to thank Eng. Whitmer for all he did and continues to do.
