We'll see UW students at the University of Wyoming SLCE volunteer fair next Tuesday, September 8th, but we are always looking for more Laramigos to get involved! We have multiple volunteer roles available, such as; Front desk attendant, donation organization, and helping your neighbors shop for essentials! Here at Laramie Interfaith we are incredibly grateful for the support of our community. We want to thank Albany County Wyoming Government for $29,167 in community partner funding. These funds help us to serve our community the best that we can, which we have been doing since 1988. Preventing homeless for our neighbors and meeting their basic needs has been the heart and soul of our organization and every year we see more families in need of support.

These funds are made possible by the 5th penny tax, which is up for renewal this year. The purpose of the Community Partners program is to invest in agencies that provide vital services or activities to help make Laramie a great place to live, work, and play! The Laramie and Albany County 5th Penny sales tax is up for renewal at the general election on November 3, 2026.

We want to say thank you to the City of Laramie - City Government and our Laramigos who made this $15,878 award possible! By voting in favor of the 5th Penny sales tax in 2022 you have supported non-profits that enrich and support our community.

An amazing day came and passed this last Friday💙

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints donated 35,000 lbs of shelf stable foods to Laramie Interfaith, and other agencies fighting food insecurity in Laramie. Over 20 volunteers showed up to help us unload, store, and distribute food to all of the places it needed to go. 35,000 lbs of food dealt with in under 3 hours, and our gratitude is immeasurable. Thanks to all of you who joined us on Friday and put in hard work for our community.

Our last WyoGives update of 2026 💙

This morning allocations for those eligible for the Hughes Charitable Foundation Incentive Pool were announced and we were allocated $8,240 of the $1,000,000 pool! In total, $61,330 was raised during WyoGives to help fight homelessness and food insecurity for our neighbors. Thank you to all of our generous donors!
