🎓 Congratulations to Ivy Doe Kwashie on successfully defending her Master of Science thesis in Geospatial Information Science & Technology at the University of Wyoming School of Computing!

Ivy's thesis, "Analyzing the Dynamic Relationship Between the Volta Region's Coastline & Lagoon Mapped Using HLS-2 Imagery," explored how coastlines and lagoon systems have changed over time due to natural processes and human activities. Using advanced remote sensing and GIS techniques, she analyzed more than a decade of imagery to better understand coastal erosion, environmental change, and the interactions between coastal and lagoon boundaries.

Her research highlights the value of geospatial technologies for monitoring vulnerable coastal environments and supporting data-driven planning and decision-making.

We are incredibly proud of Ivy's hard work, dedication, and scholarly achievement. Please join us in congratulating her on reaching this significant milestone and welcoming her as one of our newest School of Computing graduates!
