Advancing Native Students in Aging Research is designed for undergraduate students, especially Native American and Indigenous communities. This course combines short-term, intensive laboratory and didactic courses and mentored pilot research in fundamental, translational, clinical, and behavioral aspects of Alzheimerโ€™s disease and related dementias (ADRD) and the mechanisms of aging with ongoing mentoring to ensure both the launching and the retention of these promising candidates in research careers. The camp is July 19 to July 25, 2026 in Colorado; the sponsor is the Native American Fish and Wildlife Society.

This session will walk participants through the Native Forward scholarship application process, including tips for completing the application, writing a strong personal statement, and preparing required materials. Attendees will also have the opportunity to ask questions and receive guidance to help strengthen their submissions.

๐Ÿ“ฃ Calling in youth leaders ages 14โ€“24 who are interested in becoming a grant reviewer for the Indigenous Tomorrows Fund (ITF). No prior grantmaking experience is required, just an interest in uplifting community and learning about grantmaking and philanthropy.

Native Americans in Philanthropy is preparing for another ITF grant cycle and is inviting youth to join as grant reviewers, reviewing grant applications, and helping to select which projects receive funding. Youth will receive training before the review begins and support throughout the process to ensure all participants are prepared to make informed selections.

Join the Nez Perce Tribe's Indian Youth Service Corps crew for the 2026 season. The Career Center is recruiting one crew leader and four crew members to work an eight-week season starting mid-May to mid-July working on U.S. Forest Service land with the Payette, Umatilla and Clearwater-Nez Perce National Forest.

The Career Center interest is a youth between the ages of 18-24 who is an eligible applicant under the YouthBuild project start to ask questions and apply before March 20 but no later than March 27 for on-the-ground learning with this project.
