The New Durham 95’ers Car Wash is just a few weeks away! Stop by on June 20 from 10 AM - 12 PM at the New Durham Township Fire Dept. and support an excited club for local 4-H kids.

✨ All proceeds will go toward building a Gaga Ball Pit for the Westville Elementary playground! ✨

Your dusty dashboard companion deserves a spa day, and local kids deserve a fun place to play. Sounds like a win-win! 💦

Don’t let your fair plans goat away! 😆 If you plan to participate in the 2026 LaPorte County Fair, your FairEntry must be completed by June 12.

Whether you're showing animals, entering Exhibit Hall projects, or signing up for fun events, now’s the time to get those entries in!

If you’ve been meaning to apply for 4-H scholarships, this is your friendly nudge—there are still opportunities available and applications are open! ✨

We also have three NEW scholarships this year you won’t want to miss:
• Freds Kids Scholarship
• Dixie Paul Memorial Scholarship
• Edwin “Ed” Gemberling Memorial Scholarship

🐴📣 Important Update: 2026 Horse Judging Contest 📣🐴

Due to unforeseen circumstances, the 2026 Horse Judging Contest, hosted by the LaPorte County 4-H Horse Judging Club, scheduled for May 30 has been cancelled.

But don’t hang up your boots just yet! 👢🐎 We are currently working on rescheduling the contest for a date this fall and look forward to bringing everyone together then.

🍂 A new date is being planned, and we’ll share details as soon as it’s finalized! Please keep an eye on our page for updates.

The Purdue Extension Office will be closed Monday, May 25 for Memorial Day. We will reopen Tuesday at 8:00 AM.

🎓 Scholarship Deadline Reminder
The Dick Reel, Fred’s Friends, Dixie Paul, and Ed Gemberling Scholarships are due Friday, May 29 by 4:00 PM. Don’t miss this opportunity!
