‼️EXTRA DONATION🥹‼️
As many of our followers know, we were not able to donate goat meat due to the terrible fire at Monon Meat Packing and Catering Inc. (Thank you, Lord for keeping everyone safe). We were not able to financially replace the meat. When Operation junior board member and LaPorte County 4-H - Purdue Extension member, Brock Kessler heard this, he said, “watch this!” Brock had a wether on the lighter side at the LAPORTE COUNTY FAIR which he brought back home, fed, worked and continued showing through the fall. After a great showing at North American International Livestock Exposition NAILE, he and his family called Sims Meat Processing to see if they had room to process a goat to be donated to OPERATION 💙🥹 Processing of the goat is donated by an anonymous donor. (Thank you!)
Not only is this 29 lbs of goat meat greatly appreciated in our community, but it showed a long term commitment for Brock. We appreciate Brock and his family’s decision to donate the goat verses selling him.
