Tomorrow Night!!! Help welcome them home!!!

Help give our local heroes the send-off and welcome home they deserve! Several Lapeer County Veterans will be on this flight!

On September 15–16, 2026, WWII, Korean War, and Vietnam War Veterans will take part in Mid-Michigan Honor Flight’s Mission 27, traveling on their “Tour of Honor.”

Bring your family, signs, flags, and plenty of enthusiasm as we gather to say THANK YOU to these Veterans for their service and sacrifice.

Whether you're there to wish them well as they depart or to cheer them on when they return home, your presence can help make this experience even more meaningful.

A huge thank you to the VFW Lapeer VFW 4139 Auxiliary for renewing their membership with the Lapeer Area Chamber of Commerce!

The VFW Auxiliary 4139 is dedicated to supporting Veterans and their families by providing transportation to medical appointments, financial assistance for utilities and rent or mortgage payments on a case-by-case basis, and help in other areas when needed.

Their commitment doesn’t stop there! The Auxiliary is actively involved in our community, working to improve the quality of life for local Veterans and their families.

Thank you to The Golden Arrow Drop-In Center for renewing their membership with the Lapeer Area Chamber of Commerce!

The Golden Arrow is a peer-run, 501(c)(3) nonprofit mental health drop-in center providing a safe, supportive, and welcoming environment for individuals living with mental illness.

With staff who bring their own lived experiences, The Golden Arrow offers free resources, peer support, recovery-focused activities, community outings, and weekly NA meetings. No referral or appointment is needed—just walk in and find connection, understanding, and hope.

📅 Hours:
Monday–Friday: 8 AM–4 PM
Saturday: 10 AM–3 PM
Sunday: 1 PM–6 PM
