JUNIPER🌸
🛑STILL AVAILABLE🛑
Do you remember Juniper? She came in as a stray and had puppies named after trees. Those puppies have been adopted out some time ago, but Mama Juniper is still available. She's being fostered by Central Dispatch. They have only wonderful things to say about her. She is spoiled, has her own chair, loves attention and treats.
She is very shy with people and needs time to trust, so her adopter may want to come to see her more than once to build up a bond with her before adopting. She has been spayed now and had cherry eye surgery, so she is ready for a home. Come and meet her, she is so, so sweet!💗
Juniper's adoption fee is completely sponsored. 😊

Lapeer County Agencies to Participate in Joint Hazmat & Law Enforcement Exercises with U.S.
National Guard, 51st Civil Support Team
The Lapeer County Emergency Management, in collaboration with local first responders, will be
conducting joint hazardous materials (Hazmat) and law enforcement exercises with the 51st Civil
Support Team on May 19th & 21st 2026. These exercises are designed to strengthen partnerships
between local, state, and federal agencies, enhancing our collective ability to respond to incidents
involving hazardous materials that may exceed local capabilities.
Exercise activities will take place in Lapeer and surrounding communities and are intentionally planned
in areas away from high-population density to prioritize public safety. Residents may observe responder
vehicle movement and operational activity within the county.
For the safety of both the public and exercise participants, residents are asked to avoid areas marked
with “Exercise in Progress” or “TRAINING” signage. Entering these areas could pose a risk due to ongoing
training activities.
These exercises have been fully coordinated with the Lapeer County Emergency Management and local
first responder agencies.
