The town of Blackwell will have a meeting on Thursday, Jan. 13, 2022 at 6:00pm in the town hall in Blackwell to discuss ideas for the centennial event on Sat. July 9th, 2022. We welcome any and all thoughts and ideas.

Blackwell, Wisconsin will be celebrating it’s Centennial next year on Sat. July 9, 2022.
We are having a meeting on Thursday Jan. 13, 2022 at 6:00pm at the town hall to discuss any and all ideas anyone might have for the celebration. We do have a number of ideas but always open to additional ideas.

The town of Blackwell turns 100 years old next year (2022). We are planning some type of recognition and/or celebration for sometime next Summer/Fall. We are interested in any input or ideas. Please leave a message here. Thank you!

They have started to black top Goodman Park Rd. yesterday. I expect they will finish sometime next week. The road remains open during this time. Be safe!

Goodman Park Road is now officially open. The 2 big culverts are in. There is about 1 1/2 miles of rough road that is expected to be asphalted in a couple weeks. During the asphalting the road will remain open but down to one lane. Please drive careful during our road updates.

Blackwell dump and recycle center is back to Winter hours. It is open on Sat. 9-2 & Sun. 9-11

Goodman Park Road is closed between Peshtigo Preserve Rd. & County Rd. H. They are working to get the new culvert in at Stoney Creek. They hope to have it completed by sometime on Friday.
Again we are sorry for any inconveniences. Once this is done and the section of Goodman Park Rd. is asphalted then Goodman Park Rd. should be good for sometime.

I just received a message from the Forest Service that they will be continuing the installation of the culvert at Stoney Creek on Goodman Park Rd. This of course means that they will be closing Goodman Park Rd. between Cty. Rd. H and Peshtigo Preserve Rd. I will find out tomorrow when they hope to have the project completed and the road back open.
We of course apologize for any inconveniences during these major updates.
