Happy Monday!!

We will be having Youth Action Collective (YAC) at the drop in center today starting at 4!!!

YAC is a youth-led group focused on uplifting the voices of young people who are experiencing, have experienced, or are at risk of experiencing homelessness. We work together to create real change in our communities through advocacy, peer leadership, and collaborative projects.

A Mid-Michigan nonprofit is working to give the area’s teenage boys and young men a safe space to talk about mental health, build confidence and connect with mentors.

Positive Somebody is excited to partner with NAMI Lansing for a Back‑to‑School Mental Wellness Workshop — a supportive morning designed to help families build resilience, strengthen emotional awareness, and create healthy routines for the school year. Parents will join NAMI Lansing for Parent Management Training, learning practical strategies to improve communication and reduce stress at home, while children ages 4-18 years old participate in Positive Somebody’s Weather Within coping activities to explore feelings and develop positive coping tools. With a light breakfast, hands‑on learning, and resources for both caregivers and kids, this workshop gives families the confidence and skills needed for a strong, connected, and mentally healthy start to the year.
