Last night our department attended the Churchill Downs Community Association meeting and we were honored to witness Mr. Sam Horton receive a distinguished "You Make a Difference" honor.

Mr. Sam Horton, along with three neighbors took the initiative in 1994 to create the CDCA and served as the first president , with the goal of making a difference in their neighborhood. While the other three founding members are no longer with us- their hard work and legacy continues to live on through the foundation they built.

Thank you again Mr. Horton- for all you have done and continue to do to uplift and revitalize.
