Earlier today, MAC Assistant Director Tim Gaughan attended an event for state Senator Michael Webber (R-Rochester Hills), a key member of the Michigan Senate’s Health Policy Committee. Sen. Webber represents the 9th Senate District, which is located in Oakland and Macomb counties, including Rochester, Rochester Hills, and Utica, as well as parts of Troy, Oakland Township, Shelby Township, and Sterling Heights. Throughout his time in the Michigan Legislature, Sen. Webber has advocated for policies that strengthen behavioral health systems, expand prevention and treatment resources, reduce barriers to care, and improve the lives of people living with mental health and substance use conditions.

On Monday, July 14th, MAC Board of Directors members Dr. Lew Squires of Scottville (at right) and Dr. Ron Wilcox, Jr., of Wyoming (at left) represented the MAC at a fundraiser for state Rep. Curt VanderWall of Ludington. Rep. VanderWall serves as Chair of the Michigan House Health Policy Committee and represents the 102nd District, which includes parts of Oceana, Manistee, Mason, and Muskegon counties. He is a critical ally in the Michigan Legislature. They also met with state Rep. John Roth of Interlochen and Rep. Ken Borton of Ga***rd at the event. Thank you, Dr. Squires and Dr. Wilcox, for taking the time to get involved!

It's election day! The polls in Michigan will be open until 8pm (including in the corner of the Upper Peninsula that is on Central Standard Time). Get out and support a pro-chiropractic candidate TODAY!

Early in-person voting in Michigan starts tomorrow and runs until November 3rd.

Communities in Michigan are required to hold at least nine days of early voting before each statewide election.

The Better Access to Chiropractic PAC (known as BAC PAC) is proud to announce its support for U.S. Rep. Jen Kiggans (R-VA2) in her re-election effort and the release of a digital commercial recognizing her work advocating for access to chiropractic care for veterans in her district.

As a retired Navy veteran and healthcare advocate, Kiggans has boldly addressed the denial of chiropractic services for veterans at the Hampton VA Medical Center, calling for urgent action to correct these issues.

For the first time in the history of the chiropractic profession, an
independent expenditure political action committee has released a
commercial in support of a pro chiropractic candidate for Congress. The ad, released on October 15, 2024, is paid for and placed by BAC PAC.
