Historic $24 Million Investment in Michigan’s Homelessness Response

We have important—and encouraging—news to share.

The Michigan Coalition Against Homelessness is celebrating a major advocacy victory: Michigan has approved a historic $24 million state investment in Continuum of Care programs as part of the FY27 State Budget. This first-of-its-kind investment comes at a critical time, as uncertainty and delays surrounding federal HUD funding threaten housing stability and homelessness services across the state.
