We’ve had some beautiful Army days recently, and Wolfpack Soldiers from the 1225th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion and 246th Transportation Battalion are making each one count!

From mastering Warrior Tasks to sharpening battle drills, these Soldiers are building the skills, discipline, and readiness needed to answer the nation’s call. Training never takes a season off—and neither does the Wolfpack. 🐺

This week, Soldiers from the 1-182nd Field Artillery Regiment prepared for upcoming HIRAIN training at Alpena Combat Readiness Training Center.

A HIRAIN mission, short for High Mobility Artillery Rocket System Rapid Infiltration, is a military operation involving the rapid air deployment of a HIMARS rocket artillery system into a combat area, usually by cargo aircraft like a C-130.

One of the best things about serving in the Michigan Army National Guard is the ability to gain new skills as your career progresses.

The 1-182 FAR's SPC Justin Gorecki recently expanded his role in Michigan's artillery community by completing HIMARS crewmember (13M) training at the Wyoming National Guard's Regional Training Institute. SPC Gorecki previously served as a Motor Transport Operator (88M).
