Forest View Citizens Association

Forest View Citizens Association The Association’s objective has been to maintain the beauty and safety of our community and serve Hope Ave. on the north.

The Forest View Citizens Association first came into being in 1967 in the form of the Forest View Citizens Advisory Committee. This committee helped the City in the development of a newly acquired addition of property. The Association’s prime objective over the years has been in maintaining the beauty and the safety of our community and to serve as an intermediary between the neighborhood resident

s and the Lansing city government. The FVCA area is bounded on the east by the eastern city limits, Jolly Road on the south, the Sycamore Creek on the west, Mt. A unique feature of the FVCA area is the fact that in 1990 Forest Road was designated as a Scenic Corridor by the Lansing City Council. This underscores the rural flavor of a part of the community as it is the only road in the city with that title. Current officers:
Jan Kolp, President
Brett Stockhill, Vice President
Mindy Jones, Secretary & Treasurer
