IMPORTANT: We at Habitat Capital Region are thankful to report that everyone is safe following a tornado that struck our Williamston ReStore building yesterday afternoon.

Staff and volunteers had spent the past several days working hard to clear out the building following the ReStore’s closure. Thankfully, the building was empty when the tornado hit, and no one was inside or on the surrounding premises.

While we’re still assessing the damage and next steps, we’re thinking of everyone in the Williamston community who may have been affected by the storms. We’ll share more information as we have it. In the meantime, please take care as severe weather continues into the weekend.

Final ReStore Cleanup Volunteers Needed!

❗❗ We need 10 volunteers each on Thursday, August 27, and Friday, August 28, to help us get the Williamston ReStore cleared out. We’ll be loading the ReStore truck, sorting final recycling/disposal items, and making sure the store is EMPTY!

No orientation required - just complete the volunteer waiver form and show up ready to work. 💪
